National ISDE Reliability Qualifier

We wish to thank all the volunteers that helped plan and layout the run, that gave up two days of vacation to work long hours recording scores, that let us use their private land, that signed up the riders, that let us use the Fairgrounds, and that cleaned the Fairgrounds after the race. It takes a tremendous amount of work to put on this type of event. Words of gratitude are needed to help motivate clubs to give up so much of their personal time and money to put on a quality event. Kirk Sessions rode the 1994 Tulsa Trail Riders ISDE, a once in a life time chance for him. He was determined to finish and he earned a Bronze medal. Now, Kirk wants to give back to the sport and that is why we both work so hard helping. Please take the time to help your local clubs and help at National events to keep the sport alive. If you don't have time now, maybe when you are older. Please thank all the folks you possibly can. It is the only reward they get. You might just make some really good friends along the way like Bill Rush, one of the Three Amigo's that held the 1997 ISDE Qualifier Finale in Oregon, or Jeff Russell to name just a few of the really great guys out there working their tails off for the sport.
